Are you involved in service planning and eager to create a service that truly delights users? Capturing user insights is crucial for that. There are many techniques for insight discovery, and this method is very simple. By continually asking "Why?" regarding the user's situation and their explicit needs, you can uncover their true needs! This approach can be easily applied even without conducting actual user research, using your own assumptions or desk research findings.

How to Use It:

  1. Write on a green sticky note to describe the type of user for whom you want to provide services or products.

  2. On yellow sticky notes, list the needs that the user (from the green note) might have (assumptions are okay).

  3. Delve deeper into the needs and users listed on the yellow sticky notes to discover insights (underlying needs) and write them on pink sticky notes.

This method will help you uncover profound insights and create services that genuinely resonate with users!
