When to use:

Use this as a starting point for a discovery session with your product trio.

Prepare the canvas before the session and all things you already know.

If you are a friend of async preparation, then share it upfront with the other from the trio and ask them to contribute How to use

Start by giving it context: which objective and key result does it relate to? What is the pain point you want to address? Do you already have assumptions? If there is research available, then add it.

The canvas is for you and your trio to discuss and work on. It will not host the final solution, but rather align you on.

Try to draft the optimal user journey in the story map and note all the assumptions you are making. Those are the things you want to clarify before going any further.
