Kaizen Improvement Workshop

Report

The Kaizen Improvement Workshop template is years in the making and has been the main go-to workshop offering by the Starbucks Continuous Improvement (CI) team. This offering is especially useful as a multi-day/multi-session activity for your cross-functional team that requires help gaining a better understanding of the root-cause of major process pain points as well as a path forward for cross-functional team alignment & improvement!

The template is broken into four stages and includes detailed step-by-step task lists, relevant facilitator preparation & training material, as well as kaizen template activities. Built-in preparation activities ensure change management is a part of each stage through the process. When followed from start to finish, the workshop allows the team to provide a full current state assessment of the problem, identify root causes for major key themes, identify future state design requirements, and prioritize improvements.
