The Start, Stop, Continue Retrospective is a simple and easy way to engage the team in reflecting on what they should "Start," "Stop," and "Continue" doing based on their most recent experiences, with the goal of improving their Team System.
Holiday imagery has been added to enhance the Team Experience while building a connection to the Retrospective theme.
How to use the Start, Stop, Continue Retrospective
Set the Stage: Open the Retro with the check-in exercise. This helps the Team with initial engagement.
Gather the Data: Introduce the Retro and Guide the Team to reflect on what they can Start, Stop, and Continue doing as it pertains to their Team System and current events. Cluster your thoughts & do affinity mapping while you converse.
Gather Insights: The Team will then share and discuss their ideas. The discussion should include an analysis of any problems/issues brought up, as well as any corresponding solutions.
Decide What to Do: Identify the learnings and decide what improvements to make. The Team can use the voting icons to narrow down the items they want to work on.
Close the Retro: Summarize the next steps and ask for feedback on how to make the Retrospective better for next time.
