Emoji Check-in

This short icebreaker activity helps to connect everyone by spending a couple of minutes getting to know each other and how you are all feeling.

Invite everyone to put their name on a post-it next to the emoji that resonates most with them that day.

It can be a helpful way to get people used to Miro, share how they are feeling and provide the trainer with a temperature check of the room.

😞 Tired - how do we help create some energy?

🤔 Confused - is it time to restate the session's outcomes?

🤯 Stressed due to a deadline - does the session need to be rescheduled?

It's definitely harder to 'read the room' when working remotely, but we can invite inclusion and engagement by connecting with the students.
