The 4c Map is an instructional design tool created by Sharon Bowman. It is one of the cornerstones of Training from the back of the room training.
The Template consists of 4 Quadrants all starting with a C, hence the 4C map!
C1 connections
Connect learners to each other, the topic, the room and yourself as a teacher.
C2 concepts
Bring in new pieces of content however do this in small chunks.
C3 concrete practice
Have the learners do Active skills practice or active review of the content.
C4 conclusion
Give learners the time to summarize, evaluate and celebrate what they learned.
The idea is to make a combination of a topic and one or more activities to tackle those topics.
Its is not a linear process it perfectly possible to switch between C'2 en C3 to intruduce new content.

I believe we can change the way people see the world.
By helping them develop self-steering capabilities to become masters of their own learning journey.
I do this by providing dynamic and engaging sessions.
