The Kindness Toolkit
The Kindness Toolkit is a collection of tools designed to help
Service Designers incorporate kindness into their work, with a focus on human-to-human interactions. The toolkit consists of three separate tools that can be used in various combinations, depending on the needs of Service Designers. Each tool comes with a guide that explains its purpose and provides instructions on how to use it effectively. It’s worth noting that the toolkit does not address interactions that solely involve technology, as its focus is on the human element of service delivery.
The Kindness Toolkit aims to help Service Designers to:
• Analyse and integrate a mindset of kindness in public services.
• Work towards a change from predominantly rational services to relational services.
• Consider human-to-human interactions to a greater extent in
design and decision-making processes.
