Optionmap

Report

An Optionmap is ideal for feature development. It visualizes short-term planning and tracks the process of raw ideas getting fit into a tighter problem definition, when they get shaped into a solution when they are aligned on with reviewers, and bet on using the deliberate allocation principle that planned work teams operate under.

It is designed for upstream risk-reducing and shaping of projects that range from two to six weeks in length. It is not required for quick wins that can be finished in less than a week, R&D work where the aim is to spike and not to ship, or reactive work that are better suited to leverage trigger-point replenishment techniques. The Optionmap allows teams to operate more strategically than traditional goal-setting arrangements and roadmaps.
