Hierarchical User Journey Map

This template was created from an internal mapping project of complex user journeys composed of several small steps. At the same time, an overview of the overall process was needed while maintaining the capability to dive into details.

This template can be used to create simple journeys (high-level steps) and also detailed journeys without losing sight of the overall picture.
