What is this used for?
A prioritize jobs matrix is a chart that helps identify the priority levels of jobs and use cases for a project. Note: A prioritization matrix can be used for different activities with varying inputs. This matrix is focused on the jobs and use cases.
What do I need?
Define the jobs you want to prioritize
Identify the criteria that is derived from the overall goals of the project and business needs
Develop the scale
Examples:
Criteria for prioritizing use cases: percentage of user base and ROI
Once you have the items and criteria, develop the scale.
How do I proceed?
As a team, list down all jobs on Post-it notes
Discuss each one individually and place them on the matrix
At the end of this process, you will end up with 1 or 2 quadrants that need focus.© 2023
