Lord of the Rings Retrospective

To keep retrospectives light and fun I have added a Lord of the Rings-themed retrospective.

Recommend 60-90 minutes session to allocate for this format.

Section 1

Spend 5 minutes at the start to get a view of how the team is - this is quite important when we have remote teams as it is harder to gauge team spirit when everyone is virtual! If there are any concerns then its worth broaching this in section 3 of the retro.

Section 2

A small icebreaker - I generally reserve around 10 minutes to go through an icebreaker activity but you can spend more time or replace the riddles with your own beforehand. You will need to unlock the questions/answers as I lock them to prevent anyone accidentally revealing them when they are browsing the board.

Section 3

Get everyone to add topics of discussion. Review the topics and group them before voting on the topics to discuss in more detail. Do your best to come up with conclusions and actions to take away from the retrospective.
