Immunity to Change
Creating an Immunity to Change Map is a simple way to bring to light the personal barriers to change. In the first step, you outline your commitment to an improvement goal. Second, you sketch out the things that you are either doing or not doing that prevent progress towards the achievement goal. The third step gives insight into what holds you back. Step four helps you to discover the key to beating your immunity and making the change happen!
This model has helped a lot of people, including me, to make a change. I often use it in workshops, where we complement this model with elements of fun, interaction, and wonder. However, you can use it strictly for yourself or the coachee as well.
