Mancala

Let's play Mancala!

How to play:

  1. Setup: The Mancala board is placed between you and your opponent, with each player having six small pockets on their side of the board. The large pocket on the right side of the board is your Mancala store.

  2. Starting the Game: Place four marbles into each of the six pockets.

  3. Taking Turns: The player who goes first chooses one of their pockets and takes all the marbles from that pocket. They then distribute the marbles, one by one, counterclockwise into the other pockets, including their own Mancala store but not their opponent's Mancala store.

  4. Capturing Marbles: If the last marble you drop lands in your own Mancala store, you get another turn.

  5. Ending the Game: The game ends when all the pockets on one side of the board are empty. The remaining marbles on the other side of the board are captured by the player who still has marbles in their pockets. The player with the most marbles in their Mancala store wins.

Remember, these are just the basic rules of Mancala. There are variations of the game played around the world, so feel free to explore different rule sets and strategies!
