Visual Communications Designer
Department: Marketing
Locations: Amsterdam, London
Job Requisition ID: JR001715
About the Team
The Miro Brand Creative team is 15 people—designers, producers, project managers, creatives and AI specialists. We're spread across Europe but work with the kind of consistency and closeness you'd expect from a team sat in the same room. High standards, fast pace, and a genuinely varied output that's hard to find at this level elsewhere.
About the Role
Miro needs a dedicated, senior-level Visual Communications Designer. The immediate priority is Canvas 26—our flagship annual event across four cities—where you'll own the keynote deck end-to-end. But this is a full-time role with a much wider remit: executive and CMO communications, board decks, all-hands, investor materials, and sales enablement. You'll work closely with senior leadership including the CMO, embedded directly in the Miro moments that count.
What you’ll do
- Own the Canvas 26 keynote end-to-end across four cities — San Francisco, London, Tokyo, and Sydney — adapting and iterating as speakers and content evolve
- Design and deliver all executive and CMO presentations, board decks, all-hands, and sales enablement materials
- Work directly with senior leadership to shape and refine presentations in real time
- Transform complex product narratives, strategy, and data into clear, compelling visual stories
- Build and maintain a presentation system — templates, assets, and standards — that brings consistency across the business
- Push the craft — typography, layout, data visualisation, animation — and set a new bar for what presentation design looks like at Miro
- Your work will be seen by thousands of people across four global cities — this is as high visibility as presentation design gets
What you’ll need
- 5+ years of presentation design experience working with C-suite or senior leadership stakeholders
- A portfolio demonstrating range across keynotes, executive decks, data visualisation, and event content
- Expert-level Keynote skills including animations, transitions, and build orders
- Strong working knowledge of Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- The ability to work fast without losing craft quality, managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- A strong creative POV and the confidence to defend it—and the good sense to know when to let it go
- Comfortable with ambiguity, last-minute changes, and the pace that comes with working directly alongside senior leadership
What's in it for you
- Competitive equity package
- Lunch, snacks and drinks provided in the office
- Wellbeing benefit and WFH equipment allowance
- Annual learning and development allowance to grow your skills and career
- Opportunity to work for a globally diverse team
