The Renewals org is a diverse team, based in hubs across the globe, responsible for managing all Miro subscription renewals, direct and through the partner channel. About the Role

The Renewals Manager is tasked with owning the renewal journey for our existing customer base, achieving a high retention rate across their assigned territory, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to delight our customers and ensure long term success with Miro. You will take an active role in driving this critical aspect of the customer lifecycle, minimizing attrition and creating favorable outcomes for our customers.

What you’ll do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for our most strategic clients within the DACH region, ensuring a seamless renewal experience and long-term customer satisfaction
  • Own the end-to-end renewal process — from early engagement and forecasting to negotiation and closure — to protect and grow existing recurring revenue
  • Partner closely at eye level with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and other stakeholders to identify expansion opportunities and reduce churn
  • Develop and execute strategic renewal plans that align with customer goals and drive retention, upsell, and cross-sell outcomes
  • Identify the right-  and collaborate with multiple client stakeholders to understand their business needs, ensure product value realization, and secure ongoing commitment
  • Maintain accurate and timely renewal data and forecasting in CRM systems to inform company growth strategies

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years of experience in renewals or account management, within the DACH enterprise SaaS market
  • Experience and proven success in mitigating churn in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise environments
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen, with the ability to balance customer satisfaction and business objectives. Negotiation skills specifically adept to re-sell and find renewal solutions for existing customers, being resourceful and opportunistic with challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English and German
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders, including Business Decision Makers and C-Level executives both on client side and internally at Miro.Leveraging all resources and contacts to drive negotiations
  • Highly organized and pro-active, data-driven, and comfortable managing a portfolio of accounts with competing priorities
  • A results-focused attitude, with “a no being only the start of the conversation” attitude and passion for driving customer success and long-term value realization
