About the Team
The Lifecycle Marketing team at Miro is dedicated to driving activation, engagement, and adoption of Miro among our users. Their primary goal is to educate and inspire users through innovative and engaging communication and campaigns. The team is responsible for managing email as a key channel, encompassing both marketing and transactional emails. They envision and oversee all communications sent to end users, including research updates, product releases, and newsletters.
About the Role
As a Product Designer - Lifecycle, at Miro, you will play a crucial role in creating and executing email marketing strategies, conducting experiments to optimize onboarding and engagement journeys, and developing a cohesive email design system to ensure consistency across all communications.
You will work cross-functionally with other departments to align on goals and brand design language, ensuring that their initiatives effectively contribute to Miro's overall business objectives. Your work will directly impact how users interact with Miro, helping to educate and inspire them through various communication channels.
What you’ll do
- Email Design System Development and Maintenance: Create new components and iterate on existing ones for the email design system, ensuring it meets accessibility and email design standards and best practices
- Growth and Experimentation: Collaborate with Lifecycle Marketers on high-impact initiatives and experiments to drive activation, engagement, and product adoption. Define and design user communication flows that provide the best user experience and drive business impact
- Creative/Brand Design: Design effective assets for various channels (emails and in-app), ensuring a seamless, converting, and delightful user experience. Translate brand values, creative concepts, UX documentation, and user stories into visual and functional design solutions
- Collaboration: Develop guidelines and best practices for owned channels to facilitate scalable collaboration between Marketing, Product, and Design. Participate in ideation, discovery, co-creation, and feedback sessions to provide the best-in-class user experience
What you’ll need
- 3-5 years experience in marketing/visual design
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design or a combination of college education and industry related work experience
- Extensive knowledge in industry tools like Adobe CS, Figma, Framer etc
- Familiarity with marketing tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Taxi for Emails
- A portfolio showcasing a strong sense of pixel-perfect designs and user-centric understanding of various marketing surfaces with focus on lifecycle/email
- An understanding of user acquisition and conversion-based design methodologies and experimentation
- Experience in motion design (video, web) is an asset but not required
