About the role

The Commercial Account Executive Team is integral to our go-to-market strategy. As the leader of this team, you will manage and mentor a group of account executives, guiding their efforts in prospecting, developing, and closing deals with companies having fewer than 2,000 employees. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure a seamless and cohesive approach to achieving our business objectives. Your leadership will set the foundation for future expansion and drive revenue growth for the company. While striving to achieve our goals, we also prioritize maintaining a fun, collaborative, and well-balanced culture.

What you’ll do

  • Coach, enable and lead a team of 6-10 Account Executives to help land and expand within the Commercial Sales segment (400-2000 employees).
  • Develop the team by arming them with key sales skills and fundamentals to be ready for their next roles
  • Help reps close deals following a consistent, repeatable process that is optimized for customer-centric value
  • Spot trends from customer conversations to build strategies to drive growth and remove bottlenecks from the sales process
  • Use data-driven pipeline prioritization and forecast methodologies
  • Build and maintain a high-energy, fun and motivating culture

What you’ll need

  • 4+ years of SaaS sales closing experience with a strong track record of performance
  • 2+ years of Sales Management experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS companies
  • Experience selling to new and existing customers within the <2000 Employee size segment
  • Experience with value selling within a sales-led motion. Formal selling methodology (MEDDPICC, Force Management, Sandler, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience in creating scalable pipe generation campaigns 
  • Examples of employing strong business acumen to influence sales cycles
  • Examples of coaching and developing sales professionals
  • Experience in pipeline, forecast management, and using data to prioritize time+driving the business forward
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally
