Lean Coffee Table
I took inspiration from the beloved Lean Coffee Table method (https://www.leancoffeetable.com/) and made my own, simple Lean Coffee Table (LCT) board.
LCT is a popular method.
Participants add topics to the first frame, and vote which topics they'd like to discuss
Voting is accomplished with reactions! 😊
Facilitators start the meeting by moving the topic with most votes into the frame in the middle, and they keep track of the time: 8 minutes per topic on average
At the end of the 8 minutes, Participants can vote to:
continue the discussion on the current topic
move onto the next topic
neutral vote
At the end of voting, the conversation continues with the same topic or a new one, for another round
8 minutes on average for a new topic
5 minutes of time extension if the same topic was voted, at the end of which the voting takes place again
Once the Participants vote for changing topic, the Facilitators move the topic card into the last frame
Simple, yet effective!
Enjoy your ☕ coffee meet-up's!
Note from the author: LCT is very popular. I might have to save up space for other boards on Miro on my free account.
