About the team
Our greatest goal in the Miro Enterprise team is to empower large businesses to take control of our collaboration tools. This is vital because Miro is used by 99% of the Fortune 100. Thus our team focuses on ensuring that Enterprises are enabled to best use our product for all of their hybrid work needs.
You might be familiar with our product, now imagine it's used not by a team of tens but of thousands. This comes with an additional set of challenges that must be handled at scale: advanced security, integrations with identity providers, user administration, data lifecycle management, data segregation and residency, analytics and much more. If these types of problems sound exciting for you to tackle collaboratively in a team, then the Enterprise team is right for you!
Each role at Miro is based at one of our physical hubs, and we look for talent that want to be part of these local, collaborative communities. When we return to the office, Mironeers will work in a hybrid model, with 3 days a week in the office in the heart of Amsterdam.
About the Role
To help us deliver world-class reliability (and to move faster - we believe that well engineered software is cheaper in the long run!), we are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who would partner with our product teams in Enterprise to offer both hands-on help with infrastructure matters and coach engineers within teams on building reliable, scalable applications.
What you'll do
- Work directly with the Enterprise product teams to help deliver quality solutions (mostly external facing Kubernetes hosted applications built with Java, Kotlin, or Node.js)
- Act as a subject matter expert of SRE practices, coach and mentor engineers on SRE matters
- Drive automation within the organisation utilising Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Own the CI/CD process for the microservices and our infrastructure
What you'll need
- 5+ years in a DevOps role working closely with other engineers
- Experience building and handling AWS cloud-native services
- Experience with delivering and supporting Kubernetes (EKS) hosted microservices
- Experience with setting up automated release of Kubernetes services using CI/CD tools (Bamboo, GitLab, GitHub) and Helm
- Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with Python for scripting
- Experience with configuration management (Ansible)
- Solid understanding on how modern web applications work
What's in it for you
- Competitive equity package
- Medical insurance coverage
- Lunch, snacks and drinks provided in the office
- Wellbeing benefit and WFH equipment allowance
- Annual learning and development allowance to grow your skills and career
- Travel allowance for your commute
- Opportunity to work for a globally diverse team
- Inspiring workplace in the heart of Amsterdam
