About the team

The Platform Engineering Team, which is part of Infrastructure, is scaling to enable the further growth of Miro! The team’s mission is to enable developers to iterate quickly. We do this by providing an easy-to-use platform that gives developers sufficient autonomy to create the next big thing. The team is responsible for creating the internal developer platform and providing developer tools like GitHub, GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.

Each role at Miro is based at one of our physical hubs, and we look for talent that want to be part of these local, collaborative communities. Mironeers work in a hybrid model, with a 3 days a week in office culture as our baseline.

About the role

As a Technical Product Manager in Platform Engineering your mission is to unlock engineering productivity at Miro. Your role is internally focused, and Miro’s developers are your customers. After several years of phenomenal growth, we need to come up with a more layered approach to enable Miro Engineering organization to keep expanding. We will do this by automating the process by which Miro’s engineers get access to the infrastructure and developer tooling, removing friction and manual intervention. The industry term for this is an Internal Developer Platform. You will join the Platform Engineering team at the start of this journey and will be a crucial contributor to its creation. You will drive the team through the discovery and delivery phases. You will coordinate the effort of a cross-functional team; set the objectives; and ensure the team can hit them on budget, time, and with excellent quality.

What you’ll do

• Enable developers to move more quickly by contributing to the discovery and development of a new internal developer platform within Miro
• Increase the velocity and productivity of Miro’s internal developers by offering best-in-breed developer tools
• Reduce cognitive load for developers by ensuring that clearly defined and easy-to-adopt Golden Paths are available

What you’ll need

• Proven success in product management, with a track record of launching products and features that have met customer needs and business goals
• Experience building products for software developers (either as a product manager or a developer)
• Experience in modern product discovery techniques
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. A willingness to engage in evangelism and internal sales
• Knowledge of software engineering and system architecture
• A firm understanding of the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• A solid understanding of CI/CD
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
