Engineering excellence is a team of professionals with diverse backgrounds, knowledge and expertise that supports engineering organization while growing and maturing.
We build essential structures and processes on every stage of an engineer 's journey from hiring and onboarding, employee engagement, team health and engineering productivity to team talent development in partnership with other functions such as People organization. We are the main partners of the CTO and engineering leadership team in driving transformation in the engineering organization.
Each role at Miro is based at one of our physical hubs, and we look for talent that want to be part of these local, collaborative communities. Mironeers work in a hybrid model, with a 3 days a week in office culture as our baseline.
About the role
Miro engineering organization is a diverse, evolving and fast growing unit. We are a team of 500+ plus engineers going through a journey of hypergrowth, structure and process establishment, change management and alignment.
With over 80 teams in engineering, we work daily on making sure we deliver the best product to our customers. Well-defined, clearly documented, and maintained processes are the underlying recipe for success of an organization that would love to become more efficient, be able to innovate, experiment and iterate faster.

Are you passionate about bringing clarity to existing processes within fast-changing and scaling engineering organisation, helping to create and capturing new ones?
We are looking for an experienced business process analyst who feels at home working with engineers, has a good knowledge of software development life cycle and developer tooling, including automation, understands agile principles and methodologies, and has a vast experience working with business, engineering and product stakeholders on process improvements.
What you'll do
- Interview process participants and document process information
- Analyze process models and craft better business processes together with our field experts (can be SDLC, architecture, infrastructure, code specific, Jira related, people, teams ways of working, recruitment, onboarding, performance management and all that comes with organization of 600+ people)
- Examine processes holistically to understand the impact of changing them on people, strategy, systems and general business operations
- Facilitate process workflow modeling workshops with the stakeholders and engineering champions. Translate the outcomes into easy-to-understand documentation
- Continuously raise awareness for opportunities to optimize our processes for simplicity and agility by looking at the output and usage of existing processes
- Identify, document and analyze business rules that govern the implementation of business processes
- Write BPMS specifications to be used by the developers for process automation
- Monitor and measure the efficiency of processes to ensure consistent value delivery
- Collaborate with engineering productivity to build data-driven insights on our performance within various processes, fuelling our continuous improvement cycles
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience on a similar role, ideally in a large-scale product organization
- Engineering background or proven experience knowing and understanding challenges of engineering organizations in the fast growing and changing environment/during hyper growth
- Solid knowledge of common processes found in scaled engineering environments, deep understanding of SDLC and development tooling
- Good understanding of agile principles and methodologies, experience working in agile environment
- Strong (written) communication, workshop facilitation, and presentation skills
- Strong interviewing, analytical, and documentation skills
- System thinking. Critical thinker and a creative problem solver
- Being able to excel in an ever-evolving organization where you continuously balance between standardization and embracing change
