Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you’ll work closely with our executive leadership team within our agile-working environment. Our People function is a highly collaborative 200+ person global team that drives the culture, performance, and development. They make our mission possible. About the role

As Miro’s first Head of Total Rewards, you will guide us towards compensation excellence, strategy, and reward alignment. This role will co-create our philosophy and market positioning, while designing incentive plans and equity guidelines. We need you to be proactive, forward-thinking about market inflections, and an expert in using data to influence in all of your decision-making. We’re looking for a compensation and benefits builder to join our 1700+ organization after our recent hyper-growth phase.

What you’ll do

  • Develop the creation of principles and practices for achievable and equitable employee compensation and benefits. 
  • Oversee our compensation and benefits administration process, including reviews, merit increases, short/long term incentives, and benefits enrollments. 
  • Evolve and iterate Miro’s existing performance management strategies, while building relationships with other functions like people, finance, and legal.
  • Lead the company’s global benefits programs while negotiating coverage costs with carriers.
  • Partner with people, finance, legal, and business stakeholders to solidify and edify Miro’s Total Rewards strategy. 
  • Provide pragmatic and innovative vision to our People team, in efforts of attracting, acquiring, growing, and retaining world-class talent.
  • Provide expert level guidance to functional leaders on pay decisions, policy benefits interpretations, and job leveling.

What you'll need

  • 15+ years of compensation, equity, and benefits experience, preferably within a hyper-scaled private company or a high-growth public company. 
  • 5+ years of Total Rewards team leadership and management experience.
  • A deep knowledge and comfortability working with executive leadership teams and committee members. 
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively forward-think about employee needs, retention, and market shifts that directly affect the organization and our staff.
  • Expert level examples of how you’ve used data to create, influence, and support program changes and wellness policies.
  • Forecast and cost allocation strategy experience, inclusive to equity pool management.
