About the team

Miro’s Product Marketing team is responsible for crafting Miro’s story. We create compelling, insight-led positioning and messaging, develop and deliver measurable/impactful go-to-market strategies, and champion customers throughout the product development process. The team partners closely with many functions at Miro, including Product Management, Design, Engineering, Sales, Success, Support, Growth, and Brand.

Successful Product Marketers at Miro think like general managers of their area: flexible but constantly seeking mastery, with strong customer empathy, creative problem-solving ability, research, synthesis, and analytical skills. They must be able to shift from thinking about a high-level strategy to tactical marketing execution and possess a bias towards personal accountability and action. While this role will manage a team, they are expected to execute work as an independent contributor as well, particularly while the organization is scaling.

Core Product is the essence of Miro. It’s the most used and important part of the product for end-users, and a critical ingredient for the success of our business. Its mission is to reinforce human intelligence and enable teams to create the next big thing by providing tools for visual thinking and collaboration that are intuitive and easy for everyone.

Each role at Miro is based at one of our physical hubs, and we look for talent that want to be part of these local, collaborative communities. Mironeers work in a hybrid model, with 3 days a week in-office culture as our baseline.

About the role

This role offers an outstanding opportunity to bring innovative features to the market, and launch them to millions of existing active Miro users. 

We are seeking a product marketing expert who is passionate about crafting compelling positioning and messaging, executing outstanding product launches, and successfully driving the demand and usage of core Miro features. 

This is a rare opportunity to work cross-functionally and partner with product and go-to-market teams to build and implement a key component of Miro’s core product strategy.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct primary and secondary market research to inform go-to-market strategy, target segments, and messaging for our key audience clusters
  • Develop internal and external messaging that translates product features into business value for self-serve and enterprise end users, while partnering with product, design, analytics, marketing, support, sales, and success teams
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns and product launch plans to drive awareness, activation, and adoption of the new features
  • Partner with our product team to work on strategy, and act as the voice of the customer to balance team vision with customer needs

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product marketing. Experience working at SaaS companies with the Product-Led Growth model & Enterprise customer segment is a plus
  • Experience driving successful go-to-market launches, and product/feature activation and adoption
  • Understanding the value of storytelling and knowing how to partner closely with cross-functional teams to craft compelling narratives
  • Ability to make decisions based on data and user insights, strong customer empathy
  • Excellent structured thinking and ability to communicate effectively in writing or verbally, adapting communication style and content to different audiences, including GTM, marketing, and leadership
