Technical Agile Practitioner (Scalability)


About the team

Our Infrastructure and SRE Team is currently distributed between Perm, RUS and Amsterdam, NL. We are in the process of transforming our organisation, that will solely focus on providing all development streams within the organisation with tooling and frameworks required in order to achieve stability, predictability within the infrastructure release domain and help promote reliability engineering practice and cloud adoption within a given time framework. In addition infrastructure and SRE organisation will supply supportive resources to development streams in order to achieve operational excellence.

About the role

We are looking for an agile practitioner, capable project lead, to contribute to implementing a way of working strategy within the team and streamline effective processes with the infrastructure and SRE organisation that engages all team members in improved planning, technical strategy breakdown and tasks and projects execution. You are required to contribute to setting up data driven, measurable KPI’s in order to achieve and support high performing teams within infrastructure and SRE organisation. You will have an opportunity to set an agile practice that includes collaboration with the rest of the development organisation and regularly ensure and report on the team’s effectiveness, productivity, velocity and happiness. You will be responsible for planning and workload that meets demands of the strategy execution.

What you’ll do

  • Setup agile practices: planning sessions, team engagement, breakdown of strategy/features into story workloads, quantifying work together with the relevant teams. Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, refinements
  • Reporting on status, progress, blockers and impediments that you are not able to resolve 
  • Report on teams velocity, effectiveness, successes/failures and happiness 
  • Contribute to definition and way of working based on data driven approach
  • Work directly with SRE Leads on addressing effectiveness and efficiency in regards to individual and team’s performance

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years working effectively in high pace, high growth agile environment 
  • Experience using data driven approach to tune individual and team effectiveness and efficiency 
  • Expert with agile and lean working methodologies with ability to customise processes to the organisational need and suitability
