About the team

You will join a highly motivated, energetic Revenue Operations Team that takes pride in growing customer relationships, running strategic sales cycles, and delivering the Miro value proposition to a diverse base of accounts globally across all segments. You will be in a unique position to work across a number of different functions and have a substantial impact on the top line and bottom line. Your success will be measured by both improvements in efficiency (streamlining processes, helping reps get deals done quicker, reducing internal deal steps, etc.) as well as overall sales productivity (growing deal size, increasing frequency of expansions, helping reps win deals)

About the role

As the first Deal Strategy & Operations Manager, you will guide the Sales organization in structuring deals, applying pricing strategy, quote management, facilitating contract reviews, and managing the quote to cash processes. If you can easily find solutions despite different needs through essential analysis, process review and continuous improvement you could be a great addition to our team.

What you’ll do

  • Be a trusted advisor for our sales organization to improve deal closure velocity, including being the one-stop resource responsible for understanding contract requirements, structure, business terms, and identification of potential risks and opportunities that can affect performance, growth, and positioning
  • Be a sales advocate and partner to internal organizations, partnering with all organizations involved in the contract negotiation process
  • Provide leadership with financial models and evaluation of deal economics, commercial terms and conditions, and operational requirements to present risk/reward profile for opportunities
  • Manage the order management function and assist Sales with drafting and delivering order forms ensuring compliance with published sales and business approval policies
  • Review non-standard contract language to ensure transactions comply with revenue recognition and operational policies
  • Provide ongoing recommendations and lead improvements of deal desk and company quote to cash policies
  • Deliver training to new sales hires on deal structuring and approval process
  • Complete ad-hoc projects

What you'll need

  • 5+ years experience with a SaaS Deal Desk function (Background in professional services / advisory services a plus)
  • Proven track record of building out process and structure 
  • Capability to build strong relationships with business partners
  • Experience with data analysis, modeling and financial analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets) advanced functions and SFDC
  • Experience with Business Intelligence, Reporting Analytics Tools and Enterprise quoting and approval workflow systems
